Dress Well: Made for Each Other

Fenn Wright Mason sweater via T.J. Maxx (similar), Anthropologie skirt (love this one), J. Crew belt (similar), J. Crew necklace, Ivanka Trump heels, Tory Burch bag, Coach sunglasses

I've seen a lot of other bloggers recently expressing their excitement for spring and the new clothes it brings. I can tell you this: I am not excited for spring clothes. I've never been much of a pastel or floral-print fan, and since it never gets warm enough here for spaghetti straps or shorts, I feel like spring clothes are just taunting me. No need to remind me that summer doesn't exist in San Francisco!

What I do love is this skirt. I bought it at Anthropologie the summer after I graduated from college, and although I had no idea what I would wear it with when I bought it, I discovered that it goes perfectly with cream-colored silk blouses. And that was all I wore it with until my mom gave me this sweater. The lace on this skirt overlays this pretty green fabric, and the color of this sweater matches the green fabric perfectly. So this is my spring outfit, even if it does include cashmere. Maybe I'll file it away for St. Patrick's Day.
