Dress Well: Travel Day

Madewell chambray, Madewell jeans, J. Crew flats, Michael Kors watch (similar), J. Crew bracelet, J. Crew bangles, Tory Burch bag, Coach sunglasses (similar)

I think I've officially given up on the hope of ever taking pictures in this shirt when it isn't wrinkly. It's just not going to happen.

What is there to say about this outfit, other than the fact that my tried-and-true chambray shirt and trusty pink pants are the very best travel combination? I would probably wear this outfit about once a week if I thought no one would notice...unfortunately, there's nothing very subtle about neon pink pants.

My husband was being a goofball while we were taking pictures, so I struck this pose.

And then I decided to be goofy, so I struck this pose. We're going through a bit of a JT phase right now, resulting in me singing this song nonstop (sorry for the ghetto video).

Same tree, different season.

DSC_8292Well, my first day of my week off from work was a little...bizarre. After early morning CrossFit and driving my husband to work, I came back to the apartment and slept for about two and a half hours. Which left me a bit dazed and confused at noon, something I haven't really experienced on a Monday since college. Then it was off to the grocery store, and then off to the dentist, where I was kindly informed that my incessant teeth grinding is probably going to end up costing me a lot of money in the form of dental work. AND I get to go back tomorrow to get two cavities filled! Who doesn't like spending half of their week off at the dentist? When I got home I was happy to see that the J. Crew clothes that I ordered last week were here, but then tried everything on and decided that I won't be keeping any of it (hell was probably freezing over simultaneously). Luckily, I polished off the night with a homemade salad and catching up on Mad Men, so it ended on a high note.

Here's hoping that you're doing something a bit more fun than getting cavities filled today. Have a great one!
