Oh my goodness, y'all - it is COLD here in San Francisco. Yesterday alone I heard three different people on the street quoting Mark Twain: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." He wasn't lying. Saturday night it was 50 degrees, so I ventured out to Pizzeria Delfina wearing a cable-knit sweater. My husband and I then huddled under a heat lamp while waiting to get a table. I don't say this often, but this weekend I was a bit jealous of the 100-degree heat experienced by the rest of the country.
In case you guys were wondering about my wavy hairstyle, the method for getting stick-straight hair to look like this is really complicated: put slightly damp hair in a top knot for an hour or so and take it out right before you leave. I briefly considered using a curling iron, but man...who has that kind of time?
Have a wonderful Monday!
