Live Well: Seattle

{The view from Pike's Place market}

While rain and darkness made it difficult to take pictures for most of our trip to Seattle, I still managed to get a few great snaps. And a weekend full of beautiful sights and delicious food deserves to be memorialized, right?

{The hotel room came with a sweet bathtub and a rubber ducky. I can't believe I didn't throw this guy in my suitcase before we left...}

{The gorgeous shared space of Joule / The Whale Wins. We had brunch at Joule on Saturday morning and it was delicious. Best porchetta I've ever had, hands down. Part of me wants to go back just to try The Whale Wins.}

Here's a few more details on our trip:

Places we ate: Matt's in the Market, Lola, Sitka & Spruce, Joule

Places we saw: Seattle Art Museum, Pike's Place, Westlake Center shopping mall

Smartest thing I packed: my J. Crew Pixie Pant

Wish I'd had: rainboots

I can't get over what a fun city Seattle is - we will definitely be making a return trip in the not-too-distant future! Until then, I guess I'll have to content myself with San Francisco...rough life, right?
