I'll be honest - I've made these chocolate chip cookies before. I even wrote about them (I seem to always make cookies in honor of San Francisco sporting events). However, the past few times I've made them, I've been completely disappointed. Which just seems wrong, because this recipe is always billed as the best chocolate chip cookie recipe on earth. So I did the normal thing and decided to give it another go. This time I took it seriously - I weighed my ingredients. That's right. There was a scale involved. And you know what? It was totally worth it.
I brought the cookies into work yesterday, and I don't think I've ever received so many compliments on a baked good. If you want the love and appreciation of your co-workers...this is a great way to go about it.
