Eat Well: Cheddar Biscuits

There are few things I love more at breakfast than biscuits. And there are few things I love more in life than cheese. As expected, when the two come together it is magical.

I used Ina Garten's recipe for the biscuits. They of course turned out wonderfully - Ina Garten is the queen of all things simple yet delicious. If you're looking for a brunch item that's perfect for fall and easy to make, look no farther than this recipe.

A natural, delicious, and healthy pairing with cheddar is apples. Throw some slices on the side of your meal for added color and nutritional content.

I had yesterday off in honor of Veteran's Day, so it's back to the grind today. At least I've got a short week and some fun plans to look forward to, including the first gala committee meeting with a very special nonprofit tonight.
